Always: what signing in needs

• Session cookie — temporary encrypted state for security messages, returning you to the page you asked for, and, if you arrived through a campaign link or from another site, which one, until you sign up. Ends with the browser session.
• session_id — signed sign-in identifier. Not readable by scripts, SameSite=Lax, HTTPS only in production, expires after 30 days or when you sign out.
• current_workspace — which of your workspaces the app opens, for people with more than one.
• consent — your answer on the cookie bar, allowed or declined, so it is not asked again. Kept one year.

Only if you allow it: Google Analytics

With your yes, Vesqo loads Google Analytics 4, run by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4), to count which pages are visited, from where, and how a visit went, so we know what to improve. Google receives the page address, the browser and device details, a rough location from the IP address, which it does not store, and a random id in the cookies below; Vesqo does not send your name, email address or anything from your workspace. Google may transfer this data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Until you say yes nothing is loaded from Google, and saying no is the same click, with the same result for the site.

• _ga — a random id that tells one browser from another. Kept two years.
• _ga_<property> — the same id and the state of the current visit for our property. Kept two years.

Only if you allow it: Microsoft Advertising

With your yes, Vesqo loads Microsoft Advertising's UET tag, run by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18), to see whether a visit that began with one of our ads on Bing, MSN or Outlook ended in a sign-up, so we spend on the ads that work. Microsoft receives the page address, the ad click id, browser and device details, the IP address, and whether a sign-up happened; Vesqo does not send your name, email address or anything from your workspace. Microsoft may transfer this data to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Until you say yes nothing is loaded from Microsoft.

• _uetsid — the current visit. Kept one day.
• _uetvid — a random id that tells one browser from another. Kept 13 months.
• MUID — Microsoft's own id for the browser, set on Microsoft's domain. Kept up to 13 months.

Changing your mind

Open this page and press Ask me again: your answer is forgotten, Google's and Microsoft's cookies on this site are removed, and the bar asks once more. You can also clear cookies in your browser, or block Google Analytics everywhere with Google's own opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Why this bar and nothing more

Portuguese Law 41/2004 exempts storage strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for, which is the first list. Anything optional stays off until you choose, refusing is as easy as accepting, and this page names each provider, purpose and lifetime first.
